I have been here only one month and it has been an adventurous one! We’ve had all kinds of building maintenance issues, but I think we have made it through with flying colors. Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.
Other than the building issues, we also have a lot of plans to improve the quality of care that we provide. One of the biggest improvements we are in the process of completing is the classrooms. We are painting, flooring and making the rooms more inviting to our children and our parents. We are also improving how we use our space and are clearing out the clutter. Most of this will be completed before the fall.
If you are returning in the fall, we will send our 2010 – 2011 school year packets by July 11, 2010. The packets will include admission forms, classroom and teacher assignments, supply lists and other necessary information. If you are not sure if you are registered for the 2010 – 2011 school year then please contact the front desk as soon as possible. We also have big plans for the playground, but we will get through the classrooms first. The expected playground will have safety supports as well as proper landscaping (no more dirt). If you’d like to volunteer to become involved in anyway, please contact me. It would be great to hear from you!
Most of all, I want to keep the lines of communication open and keep you informed as to what is going on in our school. If you have not been receiving e-mails from me about any of our building or school updates, please let us know at the front desk so we can add your e-mail address to the list.
